Cold Weather - Not Starting...

Hey its me again, with that 89 Range Rover...

So this thing is driving me crazy...

Once it get cold - below freezing I cannot start her up in the morning...

It cranks - it just does not start - so we were thinking its either Fuel system or the Oil is too thick...I forget whether I was putting 10w30 or 10w40 in it but it was one of those...

I know that I have a small fuel leak - in such a tight spot - but it only seems noticeable when I fill the tank - anything over half and you can smell it...and it is just such a short hose...and really hard to get to...I have average hands and I can barely get my fingers to it...going over the tire of course...

Anyway - is this a vehicle that I should have a block heater on? Or should I just go to a different oil?

Thanks
Christine

OK - so now that it sat in the sun for a couple of hours...it started...there was some hesitation...but she kicked over...

Have to check the radiator fluid as that light is now on...eesh

If you are below 14 F, need to use a 5W40 oil. Would not use 10W30, 30 is too thin once warmed up.

Fuel leak should be dealt with, if half full, it can slosh out, and Thanksgiving is over, don't need to be roasting Rovers.
