Continental tires

I just put on the oem continental tires after removal of my winters. I have an 08 RRS and after getting delivery of it I switched out to my winters right away so I've never really driven on them. My problem is that I have a front end shimmy in the stearing wheel that no seems to know why. The front end is tight, I've gone to 3 tire shops getting them rebalanced and switched from front to back and again and again. Nothing seems to work, I'm 8hrs away from my local LR dealer, could this be from a flat spot in the tire from sitting on the car lot so long? My dealer is saying that although I'm just now using the continentals the truck is 8mths old and no more warranty.
Does anyone have any suggestions, what is a good replacement tire, my husband hates the continentals anyway

You're still under factory warranty on the vehicle - dealer should resolve, even if they have to replace the tires. Don't let them try to focus the problem on the tires themselves, rather on you being unhappy with the performance of the vehicle.

The Svc mgr is going to bat because he has a local guy with same vehicle/same year same tire and same issue. My problem is that I can't readily get back to the dealership to show him and when your talking warranty they want the the truck. I can't find any info on what the tire warranty actually is, I've got 14000kms on my truck.
