Door handle (outside) is getting STUCK!

Hi Guys!
My drivers side door handle is getting so stuck that when I pull it it actually stays pulled until I push it back in. What magical "stuff" would you guys recommend that will not harm the vehicles intricate lock and will get this handle back to its operating self again.

Thanks always for your time.

I used a silicon grease awhile back and tried to spray it as deep in there as I could. Any sort of hinge grease should work too. I also used a brand of garage door lube and WD-40. All three did not harm anything, and also did not provide dramatic results instantly. After a couple days the door started to open with much less pull. I would make a squirt or two and pull the handle in and out a couple times before reapplying more. I did this about 20 times :) .

I used a lithium grease spray. Worked well but didn't do it over night.
