Default Extended Warranty

Hi guys,

I'm new here (just got my RR yesterday) and had a quick question about the extended warranty. It's a 2008 supercharged full body with 85K. It's in great shape (carfax and autocheck are both very clean) inside and out, but naturally I'm worried about the reputation. Would anyone have any recommendations as to if I should get one and which would be feasible for the truck?

Thanks in advance!

Color me jealous. Awesome truck. First, how much can you do yourself? How well maintained was your truck before you got the keys? Use that as a base line for an extended warranty.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm super excited about it.

As for what I can do, it's not much. I'm very handy, I've just never worked on cars before. I have a couple friends that are very good with cars, but they've all said they've never worked on RRs before.

The previous owner had it regularly serviced and was never in an accident or anything of the sort.

Thanks again!

Ford warranties are some of the best, also good are Maxcare, from CarMax, and JMNA. I would steer clear of Continental, and most smaller warranty companies.

Biggest thing with any warranty is to read every word of the contract, make sure it covers air suspension components, nav system, transmission seals.
