Fuel filter location (HELP!)

2001 Range Rover...anyone have any ideas where the fuel filter is on this thing? All of my local parts suppliers tell me they have a fuel filter to sell me, Land Rover guys down the road tell me its in the right rear wheel arch...3 techs looking at the right rear wheel arch and no one can find it. We just did plugs and wires to it and it has a fuel pressure problem that i have to diagnose. But i need to find this fuel filter first...any help>>

i dont think there is a fuel filter on that year. it might just be sock around the fuel pump in the gas tank.

I have an '02 P38 and I can't find my fuel filter anywhere on the chasis either.

Are you saying that they stopped putting an in-line filter after a certain year?

Thanks

My 96 - 38A (P38) sss' filter is in-line on the starboard side under behind the rocker. Roughly under the door pillar between the front and rear doors passenger side in the US. Do you think they made them obscelete?? Stuffed them in the injector pump??

Thanks Mike, I'll check again where you said.

A Rover wrench told me that they eliminated the replaceablefuel filter when they switched to the BoschECM system. But, then I heard elsewhere that's not true.

RE: Fuel filter location (HELP!)

If any ones interested, I found out that when LR switched from the GEMS to the Bosch EMS in the motors they relocated the fuel filter inside the fuel tank.
