Range Rover TD6 V8 Bleeping & flashing indicators
I have a Range Rover TD6 V8 which keeps Bleeping & flashing its indicators when the vehicle is left locked, this happens every morning between 11 am and 12 pm approx.... the sound is from the alarm but its a bleep bleep sound and not an alarm sound, this goes on for around 1 minute stops, and a will do it again after 5 minutes, give or take. This process can go on for an hour or so ...... can anyone shed some light on what is causing this ?...... Many thanks Bill .

not very familier with the td6 version of this car, however if it is your alarm thats goin off, you need to check your hood sensor, they have an issue of being too low once the paint gets rubbed off the underside of the hood. on us cars its in the lh rear of the engine compartment, from inside the car, right past where its blocked off by the plastic wall. brake booster is in the compartment, and i believe the fuel burning heater would be there too in your car. its a small black box with a button comming out, check where this would hit the hood, if the paints gone there, temporaraly tape a small piece of cardboard there, and see if it still happens, if not, this is your problem and get back to us for a more permanent fix.
