It's been 10 years since my last Land Rover - a '96 Disco. I am, once again, thinking about a Land Rover. Specifically, I'm looking at a 2002 Range Rover 4.6 HSE. It appears loaded (has nav') but I guess there aren't any/many options with this car huh.

The Range Rover has 80,000 miles on it. It's in great shape. The owner is asking $16,500 for the car. Seems like a good deal. But, I'm afraid (terrified) of owning a Land Rover without a warranty... my Disco was not exaclty a Honda when it came to reliability.

I realize Land Rover has made great strides since the early/mid 90s Discoverys. But (the big question)... am I going to regret this purchase? Will it cost me an arm and a leg to keep it on the road?

Thanks for any insights and opinions.
