You are right, I would like some expanded mesh in there but it goes into powder on Thursday so if I can get some and get it done tomorrow then I will, if I dont find the time I will have to powder it and then maybe add it at a later date. I really want to keep the weight down as much as possible.

Well I welded in some tabs for the mesh to mount to, that way I take my time and get the plastic stuff that is being talked about. We will see how it all turns out once I get it on.

you could just use black zip ties to zip the coop to your existing bars

That looks like a nice rack. What are the dimensions and what feet are you using to attach to the roof? Are you planning on making more in the future? I just bought my P38 a few weeks ago and looking for a rack in my future. Looks like a nice design...

I am making feet just like the OEM rack has and will attach it that way, should be nice and strong.

I am not planning on making more as a business but I may be willing to talk to you about it. I am not sure how much I will like this rack anyways, I need to use it for a couple of months to make sure I like the way it works. It is 81" long, 52" wide and 5.75" tall.

I need to make a ladder for it as well and I am thinking about making a light guard once I get the lights up there. It will be a wrok in progress so we will see how it turns out in the end.

I made the rack out of 3/4" .120 wall. It is fairly light weight and will hold just about whatever I need. My Rover is with my brother in law right now and I will not get it back until this weekend, I will post pics of it when I get it back.
