my 2nd rover...my 1st range | the off-roader

just finished a killer disco II build to camp and tow my boat with, but it turned out so good, my buddy wanted it and had to sell her off to Texas.
this is my round 2 and I stepped it up to a range and I must say I really love the change. this is my take on what a range rover should be, in a sea of city dwelling, grocery getters. --- 2006 Range Rover HSE -18x8.5" TSW Bristol's -32.6" General Grabber AT2's -Johnson Rods 2" lift -OE running boards added -debadged -matte black RR badging -satin black grill, side vents, and hood cowl -black grill emblem -black handles -custom turn-down dual exhaust, straight piped w/cats -50% windows & windshield tint -6000k HID's -LED DRL's -4000k hi beams & fogs --- Attachment 35693 Attachment 35694 Attachment 35695 Attachment 35696 Attachment 35697 Attachment 35698 Attachment 35699 Attachment 35700 Attachment 35701 Attachment 35702 Attachment 35703 Attachment 35704 Attachment 35705 Attachment 35706 Attachment 35707 Attachment 35708 Attachment 35709 Attachment 35710 |
even the older ones, when compared to a disco it hard to tell they are built by the same company

Photo of the exhaust system?

Love the looks... almost want to go out and buy one ;) What are you thoughts Disco verses Range? I know you hinted that it is nicer... how? Love to see some more pics of the engine compartment / exhaust / underside.
Cheers!! |
Looks great. Is there a lift on it?

Cheers!! much nicer, more comfortable. quieter, better quality, nicer ride, better power. it's newer, it has more amenities...it's the top of the line, fully loaded car in the line up for it's time, vs. a much more utilitarian model from a few years before.

try READING the OP Wow. Ok. Missed the one line. Didn't see it. Nice attitude when someone is giving you a complement . |
no attitude...just took the time to post-up my mod list for all to see, so I was redirecting you back to it for the info you asked for.

There are nicer ways to "redirect" without coming off like an Ahole

didn't realize the LR community was so sensitive.
I just capitalized READ, because it's pretty common for online forum uses to just LOOK at the pretty pictures and not actually check out what I wrote up. sorry to have made such waves...hoping we can move on. |
