Noise from engine

Hi everyone, I have mild squeaking noise coming from the front of the my P38 engine, 2 weeks ago I have changed the driving belt. there was no noise until today, you can hear it when engine is running itself but if I accelerate then noise despairs. any suggestions what causes it or how can I solve it?

many thanks

You may want to get a mechanics stethoscope and see what part of the engine it is coming from. Did you do the belt yourself or did a shop do it? It could just be a noisy pulley or something greater like a water pump about to go out.

Mechanic did the belt, noise is coming from part next to compressor, sorry I don't know the name, it is not big noise but u can hear it, also what I have noticed was that same time engine was about to stop and then it was starting again, it looked like it was choking, this morning back to normal, noise still noticeable.

thanks for suggestions,

I think it is your power steering pump that is right to the left of the compressor when lookin at the engine standing in front of it.
