Range Rover Safety

One of things I like most about this car is the sense of security I have when driving it. There is not a lot of crash test data out there but this video shows how well the Rover did in a crash test.

I should note that the music is VERY strange for a crash test :)

RE: Range Rover Safety

A couple of points, there is littlevisible cabin intrusion in any of the impacts (and in some cases no intrusion could be detected). Even the 35 mphside impact test barely moves the front passenger or the car (although it did have some lift but it would not have rolled).

The most important test is the frontal test since this is the majority of crashes. The Range Rover did very well in this area and the passenger cabin looks untouched.

I mentioned in another post that this vehicle is 1,000 lbs heavier than a 7 and this is a distinctive advantage to the vehicle in the event of an accident.

I know what you are saying! I always think that the car looks so nice and graceful when it is coming in for the head on crash (where you are facing the car - 27 seconds in).
