Wheel Wax Myth or Legendary

Atlantic British has a product called Wheel Wax. The product claims it protects the wheels and actually fends off brake dust to some extent. "you'll notice cleaner wheels for longer." Any one try this product? I thought of using it to fend off all the salt for the winter. All feed back is welcome.

It may help but nothing is going to keep everything off of course. I've tried a few products - the Armor All Wheel Protectant actually works pretty well to keep brake dust from building up too much and you can just spray it on rather than polish it.

The way I think of it is that something is probably better than nothing. Even just regular car wax or spray wax.

OK Thanks Chris! I think I will just stick to my regular car wax. No sense in trying something that has not been reviewed or tried by the forum.

Lol, where's your spirit of adventure? If nobody ever tried something that had not yet been reviewed or tested by this forum, we would all be using products from the 80's and 90's! :p

Lordmorpheus,
Yes the sense of adventure has died down a little being a father of two little ones. Now daddy has to play it safe and not cause any unwanted harm to the different parts to the RR. At $400 a wheel far be it for me to put a product that will cause it to start deteriorating the wheels/rims. lol Now, if you let me have some time off in the NY woodlands trying out different trails I'm all for it. lol
