Why Variable displacement compressors go bad
 

So I decided to take apart one of these piece of crap compressors out of a range rover because i was curious on why the go bad and why are they so damn expensive. Well I did (with pics!) and decided to share it with the forums so you guys at least know why the bill for an OE AC compressor is so expensive.
