Default 1999 Disco II

Okay got a question for you all. What do you think about a 1999 Disco II with 110K miles. The guy is asking a get price and i checked the VIN# no accidents or anything. He has all the service records for the car also. He's asking $7,100. But i'm new to Land Rover and love them. Brother in law has one that i drie every now and then and it got me hooked. Hows the car and engine after 100K and what do i look for when i go back again? thanks guys

The price sounds fair- just have a prepurchase inspection done first to make sure theres not a big problem lurking. Thanks- Rusty Owens- HR Motorcars- Rover repair specialists.

Check around the rear load area, as that is prone to rusting out, (maybe not such a problem as we tend to use a lot of salt on our roads during winter time in the Uk which speeds this problem up)

Check the normal things, engine starts okay, no blue smoke, (engine wasn't warm when you arrive to look at it) check all the electrical toys that are fitted.

Look underneath and check the chassis, look for signs of accident damage, twisting etc.
