94 Discovery Engine Problems
 
I justacquired a 94 discovery with what is claimed to be a headgasket leak, but am not sure if that is conclusive. It makes a really loud kind of clicking noise, which gets faster as I press the gas pedal, and I can feel quite forceful air escaping the engine in bursts in time with the clicking noise on the drivers side. This escaping air that shoots out is smokey after warming up and is coming from the back of the engine / last cylinder on the drivers side area.[/align][/align]Any ideas? Sounds like a head gasket to me.

take off the valve cover and you hear the noise from and check the springs you my have a broke spring and it my be letting oil the the valve sence it will were out the vavle seal.
