Just saw it in the flyer that came in the mail today. I wonder how it compares to the iiDTool I have? I read the pdf files on the web site and it seems very comprehensive. I could not find what "in-depth ECU-based Functions & Programming" included, but hopefully an easier way to update the BCM to add or remove some options.

For me, the brake bleed function is one that would be helpful and is noticeably absent on the iiDTool. (I have not checked the latest firmware updates on the web site in a few months so, I could be wrong) and, as I do most of my maintenance by myself, it would be a nice feature to have. I also wonder how cumbersome the key programming is for the LR4.

I do buy stuff from AB. They are usually a good value for the price. This is especially true in the maintenance kits where they put everything together for you. That way you don't make the mistake of getting the wrong filter, brake bolt or control arm nut/bolt set and don't figure it out until the car is apart. If you give them the VIN, I think they do a good job of cross referencing to making sure the parts you ordered will fit the car you have, and if not, they have been known to email and ask before shipping.

I have a lot of confidence in them, and I am sure they have done their homework on this and at this price, it may be a game changer for some. Or, maybe not.

As I have gotten older I have learned to take the "wait and see" approach to things that cost more than $100 (used to be a lot more when I was younger) so, I hope someone else will be brave enough and take the plunge and report back to us on how it compares to the other diagnostic tools we have on the market now.

I'm extremely interested in AB's wireless iLand app and now Bearmach's Hawkeye Total since Luckyjayb's positive reviews on it.
I've got my paypal account ready and waiting to pull the trigger on either of these.

I have the bluetooth gap tool and love it. It was $388 from Lucky8 love it. It even got rid of the TPMS warning since I had a battery dying in a sensor.

Britpart just came out with their Lynx Evo iOS/android diagnostic tool. I have their Lynx legacy and find it good.

Lynx Diagnostics

$300 usd

If I were to get another tool I'd probably go with this one.

It doesn't state if it's Bluetooth or Wifi adapter/dongle unless I missed it.

Britpart's Lynx Evo a Europe-only offering. the iLAND is the North American exclusive offering and is available for all models of Rovers with a modern diagnostic connector.

AB, are you saying the Lynx Evo will NOT Wprk on our US owned D2's?

They were all built in the same place right?

also, would like to know how old of a phone device could I use with the I Land? I use my iPhone 7 for streaming music, nav, etc and would use an old cell phone to display live data. Maybe even hard install it in the truck somewhere.
