AMK Suspension Compressor Software Question

First time poster - any/all help appreciated!

I have an 06 Range Rover Sport and it recently started giving me suspension faults. I reviewed the previous owners service records and he had an AMK compressor installed, was still getting faults after he installed it himself so he brought it to a dealer, had the AMK software installed and that seemed to solve the problem for him.

Fast forward a few years and I have the RRS, recently replaced the battery, and am now getting the faults.

So my real question is - when I replaced the battery is it possible the AMK software was cleared and that is the reason I am getting the faults now?

The firmware would be stored on flash memory so no. Any disconnecting of battery, replacement battery etc, would not do that. The issue to which you refer is unrelated (IE what probably happened was the PO installed an AMK onto a vehicle previously using the hitachi compressor and firmware, went to the dealer and had the later AMK firmware installed.)

Now go back, and actually get the fault codes so you can start figuring out the real problem. Call a dealer tech and ask them once you do this or post here and folks can help you better. Add relevant information (especially this time of year) to your post like:

>whats the temp outside
>is it hard to start in the morning
>are you getting this fault when starting cold?
>are there other faults happening concurrently?
>what fault message are you getting exactly?
>post the fault codes themselves

Best of luck
