bluetooth adapter

I recently bought one of these

grom bluetooth adapter

hoping to connect it directly from my cd changer cable below the seat in my 2003 disco 2.

Is this possible? I dont want to take out the radio unit

thanks

The blue mini-ISO plugs into the back of the head unit, replacing the cd changer. I think it you have to choose 1 or the other. Pulling head unit is simple. Check YouTube video. The oem plug has to be separated from yellow and green mini-ISO plugs and the one in the kit, replaces it. Then plug the 3 plug back in head unit.

i noticed that the cable input that runs from the alpine radio to the cd changer under the seat is male and the attachment for the bluetooth adapter is also male. Is there a 8 pin female to female adapter? that would be so easy

It looks like a male, but is actually considered a female, because the pins inside the connector are female and connect to male pins on the head unit
