Hi all,
Thanks for looking at my (first) post.

I have a 2004 Disco 2 SE and would like to get touch up paint, but can't seem to figure out the color. I read some threads here, but don't seem to find the code in any of the suggested spots. The door jamb has only the vin and the tire pressure. The stickers under the hood are for emissions/evap routing, and AC pressure. I took the fan cover off, but didn't find any stickers there, and there is nothing on the firewall by the break booster on the left or the evap charcoal canister on the right.

I called the Flatirons dealer with my vin, since their name was on the wheel cover, but the dealer said that strangely the color doesn't show up in their computer system.

A side question, is - I have many rock chips on the hood, is it reasonable to find a hood in matching black and just swap, or is it a bad idea and I'm better off repainting mine?
