Discovery II 2002 rear suspension concern

When the LR sits for a few days, the right rear suspension deflates as if there's a leak in the compression system. When the car starts up, the suspension system re-inflates to it's normal riding position. Is this a concern that can get bigger in the future? What are recommended remedies?

Sure it is a concern, let it keep happening and you eill burn out your pump. You need to replace both of your air bags, Arnott IND is a good place to get them and it only takes about 30 minutes to replace them.

+1 for the folks at Arnott. After getting screwed by some cheap air springs off eBay, I went for the Arnott ones and I couldn't be happier. They look and feel pretty high quality and installation isn't half bad. If I recall their Disco air springs are made by Continental/Contitech.

Thanks for the feedback. What are the signs that I should replace the pump too? Or is it advisable to just replace it while I've got the vehicle up on blocks?

I wouldn't worry about it unless the pump burns out. You'll know pretty quick when that goes down! Otherwise, I'd think you could probably not worry too much about it.

Thanks to all for your advice! I replaced the air spring bags a week ago and they're holding!
