I have a pal who took a surplus military boat, made a huge floating house boat out of it, designed to motor slowly up the shallow river areas along the coast of South America, to take a floating church for out reach to the local fishing villages.

Of course, back here in the States, we have plenty of churches, but not enough voices inside. Many people in my country question God, and treat their political party like a religion, which seems backward to me.

Go back to the second post on this thread and there is a link where you can download the Bosch ECU manual which has all the engine codes and how they are created. Your copy of the RAVE also has the codes, you can use the search feature in Adobe pdf reader to go to them in the workshop manual. There are also codes that can report for the transmission.

Hey Buzz, I rewired Green/Yellow and Green/Brown from the interior fuse bow to the coil, and rewired the Red, Pink/Black, Blue/white, Blue from the ECM to the coil. came out awesome. Went to fire it up, no start. went back to the coil checked for power to center pins, it checked GOOD. reconnected the connectors to the coil and it fired right up. All is good now in Tanzania. BUT after 15 Mins the Idle was hard to keep above 500 RPMs. it will run awesome with it that 15 mins. once the truck stalls, the only way I can get it restarted is to disconnect connectors from the coils, check for power, reconnect connectors and it will fire right up. then great for 15 to 20 then again has a hard time with Idling. I need some words of wisdom.

I suspect that at the 15 minute mark there is a switch to closed loop fuel management by the ECU, where the O2 sensors are in control of things. Also, the IACV (idle air control valve) controls idle speed, it may need to be cleaned (carb cleaner).
