help dropped then bung!
 

i was trying to find out why my 300tdi keeps overheating, went to replace the thermostat and found an old filler bung stuck behind it blocking the flow. went to pull it out and it disappeared into the engine. ive tried feeling for it with a bit of wire and flushing it out to no avail. help i dont want to have to dismantle half my engine to remove a small plastic bung that some retard left floating around the inside of my engine.:(
