Key fob not working after battery replacement, re sync problem
I recently replaced my vehicles battery and now the key fob will not lock or unlock my vehicle. I have followed the re sync steps seen online however they have not worked for me. I have replaced the battery in the key fob before and did not have a problem with needing to re sync. any help would be greatly appreciated for instructions on how to re sync maybe I am doing something in the wrong order or need to take my rover some place and have the key re synced with a special tool maybe?
thanks for the help the re sync I have tried: 1. enter vehicle and make suer all doors are shut and locked 2. insert key into ignition 3. turn key to position 1, turn key to position 0 and remove within 5 seconds 4. within 25 seconds preform the following steps 5. press and hold the unlock button 6. press lock button 3 times 7. press both unlock and lock together this did not work of me but maybe I am not doing it correctly, any help would be appreciated. thanks |

Did you get this resolved on your own? |
