Default Rear driver side brake sticking on Disco II

I have a 2001 Discovery II with 108k miles. I noticed a burning smell last night after a 6 mile drive across town. Turns out the rear driver side brake is sticking and it was incredibly hot. Anyone had a similar experience? Where should I start with fixing this?

Replace caliper. My D1 did it on the passenger rear. I drove down the rural back road, and coasted to a stop in a safe area. Used my IR thermometer, and "shot" the temp of each brake disk. Should be same on each axle. The sticky one was 40 - 50 degrees hotter. Yours would have to be even hotter since you smelled it.

Calipers can be rebuilt, but only if caught very early, the bore will have been scored with any miles on it. Yours would not be a candidate for rebuild. I took one off a dead one in the boneyard.

Do you know of a good place to buy a new one online or elsewhere for a good price?

I got mine from AutoZone.
$75ea for the front and $50ea for the rear, thats for a DI though and they are larger calipers than on the DII so your I think will be cheaper.

Make sure to do a full 2 quarts DOT 4 brake flush and order some good pads, don't buy cheap ones or you will get the 3 amigos if you don't have them already.
