Default Minor Modification for 9.35:1 V8 inlet manifold

I needed to replace the short reducing hose (PEH101170 {superceded by PEH101530 }) which ranges in price from $5 at Rovahfarm to $20 at Miami British. I figured a $3.50 hose bard and 25 cents worth of heater hose would be a better deal.
The ID of the new barb is within .05mm of the ID of ERR4820 so I can't see any impact at all to coolant flow.

Is this the one on the RH side of the intake infront of the throttle body?

A timely post, I'm pulling mine apart and it looks fragile.

Mine was fine, aside from the rust, but the reducing hose cost more than the new brass barb so it was sort of a no brainer.
