Need Help!
 

I flushed my coolant this afternoon to install a new thermostat as well as fresh coolant.

I filled up the new coolant into the reservoir after everything was flushed. After filling some water/antifreeze is pouring out the back side of the motor. It had got dark and i can not tell where it is coming from.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I suppose it's possible that the pressure in a flush could sometimes be high enough to pop out a freeze plug on the back side of the motor, but I'd examine the heater hoses and throttle body heater plumbing closely, first.

It may be the heater hoses check the two hoses than run along the top of the passenger valve cover and are connected to two ports on the passenger side firewall you may have a loose or bad hose, if it is on the driver side check the throttle body heater located between the throttle body and valve cover on the driver side.

Through closer inspection it looks to be the intake manifold gasket. I got a new one from Atlantic British.

I also picked up valve cover gaskets while i have everything apart.

Can anyone explain to me what are the two wires that branch off from the wiring harness and run down the back of the motor?

Injectors,and might be o2 sens

The two wires run down the back on the drivers side.

It doesnt look like O2 sensors.

I already cut them and plan on reconnecting once the intake manifold is complete

Some of the sensor wires are coax, you cant just cut and splice those back together. The low level signal to the computer needs to be shielded.

Luckily im pretty sure they were not coax cable.
