Need Help with Misfire Issue on Rescued L322

Hi everyone! I recently rescued a 2003 L322 from the junkyard and managed to fix a nasty coolant leak. However, I'm now stuck on a stubborn misfire issue. I tore down the engine a bit and checked all the injectors, and they seem fine. But my Land Rover is throwing two codes: a misfire on cylinder 8 and a P0208 code indicating poor performance in the fuel injector on cylinder 8. The misfire is much more noticeable at idle than when driving.

I swapped the injector from cylinder 8 with cylinder 2 to see if the code would move, but it stayed on 8. I've also swapped the plug and coil with different cylinders, but the problem remains. I'm leaning towards an electrical issue. I should also mention that when I pulled the spark plug, it was covered in carbon and it had only been in there a couple of days. The plug still works because I swapped it over to cylinder 3 and the car wasn't throwing a code but it might help explain something.

Has anyone encountered this before? Are there any easier ways to check the PCM or wiring without having to check everything for continuity? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I ran a compression test and they all seem to be in the same range.
