No audio from radio.
Hello, I am new to the forum.
I recently purchased a '93 D1 V8i as my first car, it seems the previous owner has done some work with the radio (Replaced the speakers and wiring). The D1 came with an aftermarket old Kenwood CD player which wasn't connected. Upon installation I found that the speakers would crackle when I connect them, but there was no audio. As I have stated, this is my first car and I don't really know where to start with this. I have read around on the net and seen that some Land Rovers have amplifiers which would cause this problem when not plugged in but I don't see any cable which would tell me there is one, there is also a CD changer underneath the drivers seat, could this do the same thing? I appreciate any and all help. Thankyou. |

Thanks :) I will definitely rip the CD changer out, the guts of it were removed from it anyway haha. Yeah I've had a look at the wiring in the doors and it looks like it was replaced when the speakers we're replaced.
