Tech in the Madison, WI area?
 

Just received the horrible news that our local independent Land Rover/Jaguar guy is moving.:eek:

Any recommendations for a good mechanic around Madison,WI? We have a good dealership here. But...ya know...dealership...

You could try Westside Service Center, behind and to the left of Home Depot. Another member on here said they work on a lot of rovers

I called westside service center and they said they do not work on anything older than 2000. I have 1997 Disco Se and stuck with no mechanic but only dealership. Any recommendations for someone in SE wisconsin or north illinois?

This is the closest I know of to you. Supposed to be good, never had any work done there though.

Well I stopped by westside service center, and they did say they were straying away from land rovers due to not having all the equipment needed. But they did say they could still do wheel bearings on my 98. And quoted me $600 for both front wheel bearings.
