? Re: Hedman Headers

Does anyone know with 100% certainty whether the Hedman Headers designed for a right hand drive 1995 Range Rover will fit a left hand drive US model? My '95 Classic is a short wheelbase model.

Thanks!
Dan

Hmm it would be nice if they do fit? I have no idea, 1st time I've seen them. I'd like to know myself. They may interfere withsteering shaft? You'd have to make a new Y-pipe with hi flow cats also as those are a lot longer than the stock exh manifolds.

RE: ? Re: Hedman Headers

Having a custom mandrel bentY-pipe made with high flow cats/test pipes is easy enough to get done. It's the headers that are the most difficult exhaust component to have fabricated... particularly the driver's side header with the steering shaft situated close to the manifold.

If anyone has a difinitive answer regardingfitment of the Hedman Headers on a 1995 Classic SWB model, I'd love to hear some feedback. Alternatively, if there's another system available for sale or a shop that has experience in making high flow headers for the 3.9L engine I'd love to hear about that as well.

Thanks,
Dan

RE: ? Re: Hedman Headers

Sorry I've no definitive answer, but one of the guys on the disco part of the forum showed me a link that talks about fitting Hedmannheaders to a Disco. From what I understand the drivetrain & chassis is similar. So maybe this will give you an idea of what to expect. The article in on a 4.0 to 4.6 motor swap, scroll to the bottom and it talks about fitting the headers around that steering shaft.
