Automatic transmision problems freelander 2

Hello!, i have a freelander 2 STD4 year 2007 automatic transmission. I have problems with the transmission because after i use the car for a while the car start to harsh shift the gears when it goes from the fist to the second and also when i change from D to R or N the change is very harsh. This doesnt happens whe the car is cold but only after i use it for a while in traffic. I changed the oil and made the software update f the gearbox but still the same result. Any Idea?

Did you use OEM transmission fluid? If not, you need to use that. The transmission is Volvo/Aisin so you don't need the land rover fluid which is marked up by a factor of ten $$$

I use Aisin ATF-0T4, that's what the tranny was designed for.

Also there's a possibility that the problem is the motor mounts... if they have never been replaced, it's just about guaranteed they are bad.

Other than that, I might suspect a bad valve block in the tranny.
