Bluetooth Module Upgrade

Recently bought my 2008 Land Rover LR2, love the vehicle.

I've read that the Bluetooth Module in them we're Nokia modules and swapping it out for a newer Motorola module would fox Bluetooth connectivity problems.

As it stands right now, the vehicle sees my phone but when I go to pair it immediately fails. I've done some googling around and nosed around here a bit, and haven't found anything concrete except that it is not a compatible phone

The phone is a OnePlus 6, so it's a very new phone.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

See here: Replace Bluetooth module

I don't know when modules with newer firmware were introduced. I would replace it with the newest module you can find (it has a date code printed on it). Here they used one marked AX23-10F845-AA and they claim it worked. So this one might be OK for you: 2012 Bluetooth module

I have a Oneplus 6T and it is working fine in my 2012 Land Rover Freelander 2.

Hi there - Wondering if this would work for my 2010 LR4? Technological advances make my system seem antiquated, and my Bluetooth is scratchy and staticky.

Thanks!

Sorry, don't know. Maybe at disco4.com they know how to solve your issues. Tips seen there while browsing trough are Bovee and Bluetoothexchange.
