Where is the ground from the engine to the body?

Did you disconnect your ignition coils for any reason? Did you reconnect them again and make sure they were fully seated in the sockets?

Depends on model year. Trace it from the battery. It should split, one to the body and another to the engine.

No - didn't disconnect engine coils.

Only one ground coming off the battery. I have came across a video of installing a second ground cable from battery to starter on desile models. I only have one short ground cable that goes direct to body (fender) right above the drivers side tire right beside the battery. 2010 lr2 with 3.2 gas engine.

Are there more wires connected at the body ground connection? Looks like there are 5 or so grounds that are actually connected to the engine from different places. I think the main one is attached to the cam cover. I have a 2013 so different engine and wiring so cannot go look!

I would start fresh…. Disconnect the battery. Fully charge battery. Connect battery. Check codes prior to start. Start engine, Check codes again.

If you suspect ground issues, you can use a jumper cable to create a couple good grounds from the battery neg to the body and engine block (one each) and see if anything changes. That won't help with ground problems from individual components.

The MAP sensor can be difficult to reconnect. I had problems with mine after the thermostat job. It took a lot of force to reseat. Also make sure the other 2 connectors on he back right side of the manifold are connected.

Yup map sensor connector. Wasn't seating properly. Ended up replacing the connector and fixed that. Blew out throttle body connector and fixed pedal mismatch. All good. Able to remove everything, change alternator and reassemble in less than 2 hrs now.
