Fast Idle RPM on cold engine starting

Fast Idle RPM on cold engine starting
On cold mornings (< 60 degrees F where I live), my engine starts at a fast idle of approx 12,500 RPM until it warms up, then the idle drops to about 7,500 RPM. I'm curious to know what RPM levels others are seeing on their LR2's on cold morning starts. Please indicate model year and mileage like this:
2008 LR2
118K miles
12,500 RPM high
7,500 RPM low
2008 LR2
118K miles
12,500 RPM high
7,500 RPM low

LR2 Driver,
your units are off
1,250 RPM not 12,500 RPM high
750 RPM not 7,500 RPM low
but the warm up behavior is programmed into the ECU.
Nothing to worry about.
If you want to know why ask the EPA, it has to do with the catalytic converter warming up (it only works if its hot)
