HELP PLEASE!! -- Purge valve location
Looking for some help finding the location for the emissions purge valve on a 2008 lr2.
I have spent hours searching google as well as under the car and under the hood.
I just cannot find it.
Can someone please tell me the specific location of the purge valve.
Please be as specific as possible..
I read a post that said it was underneath the car near the alternator.
I removed the under engine panel and got under the car with a light and I still cannot find it.
Any help would be very very very appreciated !!!
Thank you

Thank you !!!
Thank you so much.
Seriously, I cannot tell you how frustrated I was getting. I have bought an online version of the repair manual which contained that first pic but ws still unable to find it.
It did not have that second section with the location details.
My daughter has the car today so I have not had a chance yet to take a look but based on this information I am sure I can find it now.
The LR is my duaghters and she really loves it but I have found that repairs on it seem to be purposely made more difficult.
Over the last few days I have tried to replace the o2 sensors and the purge valve.
I have always done most service on most of my vehicles without issue however working on this car makes me feel incompetent.
I was unable to even find the purge valve, also I was able to replace the rear sensor but the upstream sensor on the passenger side I am still unable to remove.
I can see it and get a wrench on it but have yet to be able to budge it. Sprayed some penetrating oil on it , hopefully it will loosen up. - -any tips for getting ti loose ?
Please let me know if there is some charity you support, I would like to make a donation in your name. : )
