LR2 General

Looks like a lack of posts in this particular model thread...

LR2 might be my perfect fit. Not too expensive, looks great. I have been considering a GLK. Any gotcha's or such anyone wants to share?

DO YOU LOVE YOUR LR2??

I just purchased a new '10 LR2 HSE (No Nav). I love the quiet, smooth ride. Handles really well on wet payment and the fuel economy on mine after ~3,000miles (primarily highway @ 75mph) has been ~23mpg. If I slow down to ~65mph the mileage go up to ~26mpg.

So far I am very impressed. No more Toyotas for me. In fact I am planning to look at the new Evoque next fall to replace the last Toyota Truck I have.

:):)

So in a nutshell............ I don't think I have fallen in love yet. But I certainly am getting attached to it!

Love my 2010 LR2 as well, had it for 6 months/3500 miles. Perfect balance between luxury and off-road capabilities that you won't find in any other small SUV. I haven't gotten higher than 22 mpg on the highway using premium gas, city driving is probably close to 16.

I can't wait until winter to try it out on the snow. Going to a Land Rover Experience event in a couple weeks so I'm excited to test it out off the tarmac.

Check over at land Rover only.com, we seem to have a little more activity over there. Good luck!

had the truck for three yrs. not one single problem(it is a volvo after all ;) )
ran 17" wheels with rubber(235/65/17) for winter time. fit no problem despite what anyone selling will try and trick you into getting(18's)

mpg avg was about 16 mpg. was a great little truck.
Land Rover experience was decent. a lot of fun if you have never been off roading before.

Thanks ALL! I am out of my lease on a Mercedes C300 Sport (No 4matic) which I love, in about 16 months so I'll be ready for a buy.

I'm also super stoked on the 2011 upgrades that have just been made on interior and the minor facelift on the LR2.

I go to Tahoe alot, I hit a patch of snow in the parking lot on purpose to illustrate to my girlfriend how horrible the C300 is on snow. It can't brake, can't go without sliding lol. The C300 gets about same MPG as the LR2 has been reported.
