Ok, now we are getting somewhere. All three of those codes likely point to a bad Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor (MAP). They are widely available and run from $21 for a rice rocket special to $90 for OEM.

You could also re and re and clean it along with the connection but it's a reasonably priced sensor.

Yes, there's obviously something going on there too.

But MAP did not cause the AC to stop blowing cold.

I generally prefer to address issues one at a time. The codes you posted are MAP sensor-related. I suggest you take care of that and then we look at the other symptoms. It's the only thing I can do for you since I do not have the car here with me.

Once you fix the MAP sensor, I would suggest checking the refrigerant charge and using a dye to look for a leak as a staring point.

Got one a while back. I need to find it as I put it in a place I was sure to remember! Lol Thanks for the insight.

I agree, but both of those are unrelated to the problem we are addressing now. The over heating of the LR2. The vehicle is running fine otherwise so I have put off the MAP for now. I guess i don't know if low refrigerant would cause the issue?

Did the previous owner tell you if and when they changed the thermostat? That's an item that will cause overheating and they need to be replaced every few tens of thousands of miles.

The previous owner did not tell me when the Thermostat was replaced. That maybe something there. I thought it would be ok if it runs fine all the other times except when at an idle with the AC on? Would low refrigerant cause it to get warm and the car to overheat?

No, but it's one possibility to explain why the A/C cuts out. Inexpensive way to eliminate a leak as the cause. How many miles does your LR2 have again?

Thank You! I will try a thermostat. It has 130, 000 roughly.
