Where is the blower motor resistor located on my 2008 LR2

Newbie here, just picked up a 2008 LR2, and have no blower to push the air around. Picked up a resistor , but I'm not sure where it goes. Any help will be greatly appreciated as to the location of this and the blower motor itself. Are they difficult to change?

Found this in a repair manual:

In the repair manual they mention "Blower motor control module" and "Blower Motor Resistor" but in the drawings it looks like the same thing. The repair manual seems to depict it is on the left side of the console, both on LHD and RHD cars.

Found a (Russian) video which shows how they remove and repair the blower:

Hope this helps.

rpmcycle,

I'm wondering how your resistor/motor replacement went. I ask because I airflow in the cabin recently stopped. This leads me to believe that I need to replace the blower motor or resistor. I've seen the Russian video that grumsel posted which is helpful. One thing I'm wondering is if there is a plug that on the back side of the blower motor that you get at from the driver side of the vehicle. That's kind of my take away from the video.

Relays

Can anyone tell me where the relays for the blower motor are on a 2009 lr2?

No relay

just a fuse and a control module (the control module has power switching transistors doing the job of the relay)

Here is the fuse location

Take care

Paul
