The front one is part number KRB000122. I just bought one off ebay because it was missing when I purchased my LR3. Now I am looking in to what hardware I need for it and also for the larger one in the back because I a missing half the bolts for it too.

Caution buying these from eBay. You can get them from online dealers new for less. Form some reason people on eBay think they are made of pure gold. The front one is about $30 new. KRB500122, the back sump guard, is about $90 new. Just shop around unless pricing is not a big deal.

I went with ebay because the shipping everywhere else was really expensive. My total including shipping was 39.96; everywhere else I looked was going to be 50$ or more shipped.

Is that the plastic piece that covers the recovery hook up front?

heidenseek 01-07-2019 10:27 AM

No, the part number I gave is for the metal plate that covers the oil filter/oil cooler area.

Ahhh...

My bad. Mine were replaced with aluminum Rasta skids a LONNNNG time ago, so it didn't look familiar. Was that photo/link correct, then?

...because it looks like that plastic one.

heidenseek 01-07-2019 01:21 PM

Which photo link? The part number I posted looked like the correct metal/steel oem plate from all the searching I did...

houm_wa 01-07-2019 03:19 PM

Ya know, I take that back! I googled the part number and had a photo to look at but it was on my phone. I just looked at it on a large monitor and it's indeed the metal under-engine skid plate that I replaced a long time ago.

Related question, is it ok to to leave off all four of the splash shields/guards if I am not doing any off-road driving?
