2005 LR3 - FM Radio No Sound
Hey I am new to the Land Rover Forums, I recently purchased a 2005 Land Rover LR3 SE. I am having a weird issue with the FM radio. I do not have sound only in FM mode. Volume **** works increasing volume counter on display, but no sound at all. AM, CD and AUX work perfectly. I have pulled all fuses for radio to reset, but still not fixed. Help much appreciated, I have used the forums to resolve the infamous corroded Keyless Access green/white cable splice under passenger door sill.
Thanks
Thanks

I think you are right it must be the head unit. I checked all connections on Logic7 Amp, disconnected/reconnected all wiring harnesses. Removed Head Unit checked all connections on back. AM/FM Antenna in secure, when removing i still have AM radio weaker signal of course. But, not even static on FM, which I am assuming I should be getting just like AM. My AUX and CD work perfectly, so not a big deal, just an annoyance. Thanks for the help, I will keep an eye out for a replacement headunit at a decent price, an update if the resolves the issue.

My experience is across three "amps". I really hate calling this things amps, because they are more than that. My latest now has no satellite audio yet the screen displays all the channels/info - but since sat is a little different, it could be the sat module that is actually the problem. As others have reported.
The first had the typical intermittent failures or no audio at all. That was the Logic7 chip ungluing if I recall. My replacement amp worked fine, so the first was repaired with a heat station a friend had and it was sold off. Last I heard, still working fine. But the second developed input issues. So I grabbed a third to get by (yes, another used) and sent it out to my friend for repair. I think he still has it, never got around to tinkering with it. Third has been fine for a long time, less what I mentioned above.
