2005 LR3 rear knocking when slowly turning
 

Hello...I've recently bought a used 2005 LR3 and have many problems since taking ownership. Recently I've been hearing a slow knocking from the right rear of the vehicle at slow turns. It's usually when I'm making a right turn and the steering wheel is at 1 or 2 o'clock position. If I adjust outside of those positions, the noise stops. I've recently had a HDC failure and had the part replaced. I'm not sure if it's related but when I first start the vehicle sometimes I still get a "HDC failure / not available" message but that message goes off quickly. I have not had a full HDC failure since the part was replaced. Knock on wood!

Could these issues be related? Do I still have a problem with the HDC pump? Or is the thumping something else?

Also, after a heavy rain...the water leaks in to the headliner and sometimes down the side of the door. Could this be the drain issue I was reading about here?

I love the vehicle but it's already cost me $4000 in repairs in just 6 months. Do I have the worst Land Rover ever made? Please help.
