2006 LR3 Fault code help!!!

Thanks for the info. Brake switch is from Land Rover. Not sure if I could have installed it wrong. I’ll need to check. I live in the desert so water may not be the issue. We are just getting finished with monsoon.
QUOTE=SeattleDriver;839684]You are having issues with your CAN bus network. Possibly a chaffed wire or corrosion at a connector.
Start checking for signs of water intrusion. There are many threads about these sources (sun roof drains, cowl panel, a pillar, etc.)
Edit: brake switch is still listed as an “intermittent” code. Verify it’s installed correctly and perhaps try another from a reputable brand.

I just bought mine as a So Cal that is so rust free and dry as I think yours would be. I left it out one night during the rains as a test and I opened the passenger door to find inches of water in the passenger side floor well. It was amazing how much dry leaf debris and dust was in the sunroof tracks and around. The two drains at the front were completely blocked. A few feet of smaller Cat 5 cable that I had on hand to do the trick did a made it an easy job. I did pull off one side vent to look at the elbows most people say fail but the California weather had them in perfect shape. It was just blockages in the drain pipes close to the top and probably because we don't have enough rain. LOL
