I understand on the control arm bushings....but the fuel injectors and tie rods? I've read/posted on the major forums for 7-8 years and haven't heard much banter about those items.

I'm confused as to where the tie rods and injectors come into play...

But that aside, inner tie rods are suspect on these trucks, generally the RH more often then the LH for some reason. I've never had the need to replace a fuel injector.

...are the newer tie-rods any better? I got a new steering rack about 18 months ago; I'd like to get a warm-fuzzy that my tie-rods are improved!

It doesn't mean it's ever gonna happen to you.

They have been redesigned, but I have replaced the newer design before. I think they are better, and I just live and work in an area riddled with pot holes are very inviting looking curbs.
