Can Speedo be recalibrated?

2006 LR3 HSE
I have aftermarket 18" wheels and All Terrain tires. My speedo reads +2 to 3 mph to high. So when the speedo says 65 mph, I am actually going 62 to 63 mph. The vehicle is now putting on extra miles on the odometer that I am not driving. That ads up!

Any way to recal. the speed so it reads correct?

Thx

I believe that the wheel size is a parameter in the car's CCF file, so either someone with a multi license Faultmate or a call to your equipped mechanic might be able to resolve it

I woul love to find someone local with a multi license faultmate!

Before you stress out too much about it, you should get a digital readout of the speed and compare it to an accurate source.

By digital readout, I mean see what the ECU/TCU/ABS is seeing as far as vehicle speed. Its very common for mechanical speedometers to read higher than the vehicles actual speed, and the faster you go, the greater the variation.
Its not unusual for a speedo to show 80 MPH and the vehicle to only be going 75MPH, with stock tires. If you are 2-3 MPH off on the speedo, I would not worry about it.
