Cracked Dash
 

I just bought an 06 LR3 SE from Carmax. It had a significant crack in the dash at the passenger airbag. The salesman assured me that they would replace the dash before I purchased it. I came back the next week to get it, and dash had only been repaired. They did a decent job and assured me that It won't re-split and the reason they fixed it instead of replacing it, was they couldn't due to the airbag being there. It was "too involved" or some crap.
Anyway, it's starting to split again.
First Question: Can the dash be replaced?
What should I expect in the process? How expensive is it, if I have to do it out of warranty? Should I put a dash cover on either way?

it is a five hour job warrantee time. the who dash has to come out. plus you need a new vin sticker.
