Reviewed entire owner's manual and can find nothing about a software update, or anything as described above (holding down gas pedal, resetting computer, etc.) No references at all to software or computer.

 

...that "procedure" won't be in the manual; it's an easter egg for sure. Did you try it? Did it work?

I think my 2008 LR3 is a little sluggish but not too bad.

I remember my 2006 RRS doing this before the software update.

It blows my mind that some of these things are almost 10 years old and a dealer hasn't bothered to check the software, but oh well.

I still have to do my LR3, it's driving me crazy but depending on how many modules need updated it can be a few hundred bucks.
