Enable Nav input on the go by cutting off vehicle speed signal to Nav module?
 

Hi All,

I have a 2008 LR3 that can't use the Nav Hack to enable the Nav Input on the go b/c of the firmware update. I found the wire diagram for the main Nav Module and I see there is a vehicle speed wire going from the ABS system to the main Nav module. My thought here is to put an in-line switch onto this wire feed so when in the off position no speed info will be sent. I'm assuming its this feed that tells the Nav to enable/disable the buttons by moving.

Anyone done this? Am I on the right track?
