Default Grinding Noise in Front End

I have a 2006 LR3 with a couple of things going on. It's not raising in the front so assume I have one or both air struts out, or possibly a bad block. In addition though, there is a grinding sound (and feel) when moving it either slightly forward or back; and it's worse if the wheels are turned. Any ideas on whether the issues are related and if not, what the grinding sound is?

Grinding could be the diff or hub bearings. Or it could just be the tires rubbing if the suspension is fully compressed

Could also be one or both wheel bearings. Those are generally noisy when they go but not always. They may cause the truck to wonder a little when driving straight. To check just hold the wheels at 9 and 3 o'clock and see if they can be moved. And again at 12 and 6 o'clock. Basically see if there is play in the wheel. Also keep in mind if you front end is down hard they alignment will be off so aggressive off-road/mud tires will feel and sound very different.
