Help with low brake pedal after replacing pads

Can anyone help me. My husband replaced my frt brake pads on my 2008 LR3 along with the sensor and flushed the brake fluid. Now I have a low pedal, does that make sense to anyone? We have missed something not sure what. He has actually bled the brakes 3 times, is there a trick to this system?

Any help would be so appreciated. FYI My husband is a Porsche mechanic with about 43 yrs experience, he works on older cars that are air cooled, we tried to find a repair manual for my LR3 haven't found one for my year yet. We did see the dealer online manual but the cost is high so I am searching the internet for help/information.

Proper procedure is the RR, LR,RF,LF.

Did he use DOT 4?

No real trick to the system, unless he twisted the caliper up a bit. Seen that cause issues.

For a service manual, download the RAVE. It has all the models and years included.

No such thing as RAVE after the Discovery II. It is all online now... and you have to pay for access
