Land Rover LR3 Air Suspension Bags
Good day Everyone,
Does anyone know where I can buy the Air Suspension Bags besides the dealership? I got a rip in one and would like to replace it. Thanks, Rheal |
You can get the bag kit and not the entire shock. but don't screw up the install.

Hi Rovin4life,
I will have a professional install it, just not the local Land Rover because they have been screwing me around and over charging me on basic repairs the past 6 months . I dished out amost $5k in June and when I brought it back for what seem to be a siminar minor issue, they wanted to charged me another $4-$5k so I bought it to independant garage where they quoted me less then $1k. These prices do not include the cost to replace the air suspension bag. Just l;ooking where to source one because I do not want to give them any more money. Thanks, |
www.atlanticbritish.com sells them for a bit over 300 if I remember correctly.

We sell an OEM version of the full strut with air spring. It is currently on sale - Strut & Air Spring - Front - Left Or Right Hand - Original Equipment for LR3 / Discovery 3, Steering & Suspension Parts
We also offer the genuine air spring by itself, though it's a genuine part and about $100 more than the OEM strut/spring together. Spring - Air Suspension - Front Right Or Left Hand for LR3 / Discovery 3, Steering & Suspension Parts |
Why are LR oem parts cheaper from Atlantic British then what the dealer charges for?
|
because each individual dealer has a different mark up price, at my old dealer ship they got a rebuilt arnott air spring for $215 and sold it to customers for $880 if a local shop had a resale account through them they sold it to them for $680. Can you say rip off? arnott sales them for $274 if you buy it from them. Dealers are just greedy

Wow, your dealer parts manager raped people as well? Hell the other dealer I worked at couldn't believe it. Just because you are the only dealer in the area doesn't mean the customer should take it up the ass. Sure the commercial guy should pay but not the customer that the service dept needs. You know your parts prices are to high when the service advisors don't like you cause your high prices cut into their commission checks when the customers go elsewhere.
